Old family collections often contain photographs with little or no identification.
If you have a photograph associated with a POW, Hellship, POW camp, military unit, or the Pacific War that you cannot identify, post it here and tell us everything you know about it.
Even small clues can help: writing on the reverse, photographer stamps, uniforms, insignia, buildings, landscape, approximate dates, or the name of the person who originally owned the photograph.
Please do not discard the provenance of an image. Tell us where the photograph came from and, whenever possible, who owns the original.
A seemingly unidentified family photograph today could become an important historical record tomorrow.
